1. Set up ring stand in the middle of the track.(on the flattest place you can find.)
2. Tie the string to the weight.
3. Use the protractor to measure.
4. If the string hangs at 90 degrees then the string is straight up and down.
5. Put the string next to the ring stand.
6. If the stand and string are parallel then the stand is straight.
7.Take the weight off the string.
8. Once you figured out that the stand is straight tape the string to the top of the stand.
9. Then, tape the other end of the string to the end of the stands shadow.
10. Find the angle in between the stand and the string.
11.Record your results on the Results page.
